Abstract

Dobljene podatke smo obdelali in jih prikazali s pomočjo tabel in grafov.

Secondary title: PRESCHOOL FAMILY MUSIC ACTIVITIES
Secondary abstract: The thesis Preschool family Music Activities consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. The purpose of the thesis itself is to get and provide information about the extent, to which music is present in a preschooler's family, as well as the kinds of music activities one can most frequently run across in such families. The theoretical part comprises a presentation of a typical preschool family, the description of children's musical development in such a family, as well as the influence of music upon the overall development of a child's personality and the child's potential for comprehending and producing music. In the preparation of the empirical part of the thesis the descriptive and causal quasi-experimental research methods were used. The data were collected by means of various questionnaires comprising questions of open and closed type. The questionnaires were distributed among the parents of preschoolers (i. e. children aged 3 to 6 years). We found out that the majority of parents are quite active in music making many times per week, and that parents most frequently do the following types of music activities: singing songs, followed by listening to music, playing various instruments, as well as creative singing and educational music games. In the families, in which instruments are played, the most frequent instruments being played feature the accordion, the piano, the guitar, the drums, the trumpet, as well as the violin. The children like listening to children's songs most.
