Abstract

Izhodišča: Terapevtska komunikacija je pomemben del zdravstvene nege in predstavlja most komunikacije med medicinsko sestro in pacientom. V diplomskem delu je predstavljena terapevtska komunikacija v ambulantni dejavnosti. Opisane so etika, tehnike in ovire v terapevtski komunikaciji. Prav tako je opisana vloga medicinske sestre, na kakšen način komunicira s pacienti ter s kakšnimi ovirami se soočajo v medsebojni interakciji. Metodologija raziskovanja: V raziskavi smo raziskovali kako poteka komunikacija med medicinsko sestro in pacientom v ambulantni dejavnosti. Uporabili smo kvantitativno metodologijo raziskovanja. Podatke smo zbrali z anketnim vprašalnikom, ki smo ga izdelali v namen raziskave. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 50 naključno izbranih pacientov v Laboratoriju za meritve pljučne funkcije Oddelka za pljučne bolezni. Rezultati: Z raziskavo smo ugotovili ,da se medicinska sestra dovolj posveča pacientom v ambulantni dejavnosti, podaja informacije na razumljiv način, preobremenjenost medicinske sestre pa predstavlja največjo oviro v komunikaciji in lahko rečemo, da je komunikacija medicinske sestre v Laboratoriju za meritve pljučne funkcije kljub temu dobra. Diskusija in zaključek: Sklepamo lahko, da je terapevtska komunikacija v ambulantni dejavnosti pomemben del, čigar prijaznost, učinkovitost in poštenost so vezni členi le tega.

Secondary abstract: Introduction: Therapeutic communication is an important part of healthcare and it represents the bridge of communication between a nurse and a patient. This diploma thesis represents therapeutic communication in medical activities clinical activity. Ethic, techniques and obstacles in therapeutic communication are presented. The role of a nurse, the way she communicates with patients and the obstacles in their interaction are also presented. Methodology: The research we conducted was about communication between the nurse and the patient in clinical activity. We used quantitatively methodology of research. We gathered the data with a survey which we made for the purpose of our research. 50 randomly chosen patients from the Laboratory for the Lung Functions Measurements in the Department of Pulmonary Diseases were included in the research. Results: The findings of our research showed that a nurse pays enough attention to the patients in the clinical activity, that she gives clear information and that the overload of nurse’s duties represents the biggest obstacle in communication. We can also say that a nurse’s communication in the Laboratory for the Lung Functions Measurements is good despite the overload of nurse’s duties. Discussion and conclusion: We can conclude that therapeutic communication in clinical activity, combined with friendliness, effectiveness and integrity is an important part of communication between a nurse and a patient.
