Abstract

Namen magistrskega dela je bil določiti vpliv staranja steklenih filamentov na raztržne vrednosti, ter vpliv reagentov za spajanje (silanov) na steklene filamente. Želeli smo primerjati raztržne vrednosti surovih in impregniranih filamentov različnih proizvajalcev, ugotoviti ali raztržne vrednosti v določenem časovnem območju začnejo izgubljati svoje vrednosti in primerjati končne rezultate po proizvajalcih in med njimi. Zanimal nas je tudi vpliv reagentov za spajanje na impregnirane steklene diske. Primerjali smo različne tipe reagentov za spajanje na različnih tipih niti. Preverili smo, ali lahko z njimi izboljšamo raztržne vrednosti impregnirane tkanine za bolj zahtevne kupce in ali imajo kakršenkoli vpliv na ostale parametre v fazi impregnacije. Glede na dobljene raztržne vrednosti surovih in impregniranih filamentov smo ugotovili, da se pri večini proizvajalcev pojavi vpliv staranja. Analize raztržnih vrednosti filamentov so pokazale, da pri nekaterih proizvajalcih le-te s časom močno padejo. Prav tako so se pokazale razlike v raztržnih vrednostih istih tipov steklenih filamentov različnih proizvajalcev. Z dodajanjem reagentov za spajanje smo dosegli do 12 % izboljšave raztržnih vrednosti v primerjavi s standardom. Ugotovili smo, da različni tipi reagentov za spajanje na steklenih filamnetih različnih proizvajalcev delujejo različno. Ne vplivajo pa na zahtevane parametre v samem procesu impregnacije.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of this master's work was to determine the influence of glass filaments aging on tensile strenght, and influence of silane coupling agent on glass filaments. We wanted to compere the results of tensile strenght on raw and impregnated glass filaments of different producers, to determine if they lose their values with time, and compare the final results between producers. We were also interested in the influence of silane coupling agents on impregnated glass disks. We compared different types of silane coupling agent on differenttypes of glass yarns. We checked, if they can help in improving the tensile strenght of the impregnated fabric for more demanding customers and if they have any impact on other parameters in the stage of impregnation. According to the results of the tensile strenght of raw and impregnated filaments, we found that at most producers influence of aging appear. Analysis of tensile strenght of the filaments have shown that for some producers thensile strenght with time fall sharply. They have also shown differences in the tensile strenght of the same types glass filaments of different producers. With the addition of silane coupling reagents around 12 % of tensile strenght improvement was achived compared with the standard. We found that different types of silane coupling agents on glass filaments shove different behaviour regarding producers. But they do not have any influence on parameters in impregnation process.
