Abstract

V diplomskem delu je predstavljen razvoj učenja z raziskovanjem na primeru toksikologije pri pouku naravoslovja. V teoretičnem delu je obravnavan pojem toksikologije, ki je razložen od kje izhaja, kaj razlaga in zakaj je pomembno, da se učenci seznanijo s to temo. Poleg toksikologije so predstavljeni še naravoslovni predmeti naravoslovje, biologija in gospodinjstvo. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljen tudi projekt PROFILES, ki poteka v več evropskih državah in deluje na tem, da bi se v šolah povečalo zanimanje za naravoslovne predmete preko raziskovalnih dejavnosti. V raziskovalnem delu so analizirani učni načrti in učbeniki za naravoslovne predmete po shemi ter analizirano kako bi toksikologijo lahko vključili v učne načrte teh predmetov. Analiza učbenikov bo opravljena na podlagi parametrov Devetak in Vogrinc. V zaključnem delu pa je priložen učni modul PROFILES, ki omogoča izvedbo učne ure z raziskovanjem na primeru naravoslovja v toksikologiji.

Secondary title: Developing inquiry-based learning through toxicology in natural science
Secondary abstract: The dissertation describes the development of teaching by research in the field of natural sciences and toxicology. In the theoretical part the concept of toxicology is described along with its origin, its subject matter and why it is important for students to be familiarised with this topic. In addition to toxicology, science subjects such as natural sciences, biology and home economics are described. Another topic covered in the theoretical part is a project PROFILES, which is carried out in several European countries and encourages schools to excite an interest in science subjects by research activities. In the empirical part the syllabi and textbooks for science subjects are schematically analysed along with a description how the toxicology could be integrated into the syllabi of such subjects. The textbooks analysis will be carried out according to the parameters of Devetak and Vogrinc. In the conclusion a teaching module PROFILES is enclosed. It enables a lesson to be delivered by research in the field of natural sciences in toxicology.
