Abstract

Urejena celostna grafična podoba je tisti del trženja, ki na naše poslovne partnerje, potrošnike naredi prvi vtis. Pravijo, da obleka naredi človeka in tako je tudi z grafičnim oblikovanjem ter trženjem. Uspešno grafično oblikovanje, uporaba vizualnih komunikacij nam omogoči komunikacijo, ki naš produkt predstavi publiki v umetniški luči in poskrbi za bolj topel odnos. Tega se tržno komuniciranje še kako dobro zaveda, saj povezanost z družbo in s tem kulturo pripelje do dobrih rezultatov in dosege ciljev. Dandanes, ko je konkurenca velika je potrebno uporabljati izvirne komunikacijske pristope, ki pristopijo na udaren način in se potrošnikom vtisnejo v spomin. Pomembno vlogo pa imajo vsekakor tudi spletna socialna omrežja, ki poskrbijo za lažji kontakt z večjo publiko. V diplomskem delu tako analiziram vlogo grafičnega oblikovanja in vizualnih komunikacij v sodobni tržni komunikaciji. Diplomsko delo sestavljajo trije deli: likovno-teoretični, likovno-praktični ter likovno-pedagoški del. V likovno-teoretičnem delu raziščem vlogo grafičnega oblikovanja in pomen vizualnih komunikacij v trženju. Predstavim pojem tržne komunikacije in kako prenesti sporočila publiki. Analiziram tudi vlogo socialnih omrežij (Kickstarter, Twitter, Facebook) pri tem. Na osnovi spoznanj strokovno-teoretičnega dela nato v likovno-praktičnem delu diplomskega dela s podjetjem Mednmleko sooblikujem 3D animirano risanko z naslovom Diego in prijatelji. Opišem način dela od začetne ideje, skic do izdelave končnega produkta in njegovega trženja, kjer predstavim tudi uporabo socialnih omrežij ter Kickstarterja. V likovno-pedagoškem delu diplomske naloge zasnujem učno uro na temo vloge grafičnega oblikovanja v tržni komunikaciji, kakršno bi izvedla na srednji šoli.

Secondary title: The role of graphic design in marketing communications
Secondary abstract: Well designed visual image is the first step of advertising that has an impact on our business partners and consumers. According to Slovenian proverb that "clothes make the man" we could say the same for graphic design and marketing. Well executed graphic design and visual communications enable the communication of our product with a customer. This could be also a communication with artistic approach and a special connection. In order to obtain good results, advertisers use techniques to get connected with the society. As competition is very intense nowadays, advertisers create unique ads (visual communications), so the consumers would remember them. Another important marketing tool is social media that enables contact with larger group of people. In my thesis I have decided to study the role of graphic design and visual communications in modern marketing communications.Thesis are composed of 3 parts: art-theoretical part, art-practical part and art-pedagogical part. In art-theoretical part I will study the role of graphic design and visual communications in marketing. I will present the meaning of communication, the meaning of communication in terms of marketing and the presentation of the message to the publics. I will also analyze the role of social media , such as Kickstarter, Twitter, Facebook etc. Art-practical part will describe my professional-theoretical (professional experience). I have assisted the creation and production of 3D animation movie Diego and friends at MednMleko production studio. I will describe the process of creation, from initial sketch, through production to final product: I will also present marketing process including social media usage (Kickstarter). In art-pedagogical part I will prepare a class about graphic design usage in marketing communication in order to present it in primary school.
