diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija
Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava zaposljivost diplomantov Univerze v Novi Gorici. Dejavniki, ki določajo stopnjo zaposljivosti posameznika so njegovo znanje, veščine, osebnostne lastnosti, sposobnosti, delovne izkušnje in podobno. Univerza v Novi Gorici ponuja svojim študentom v okviru izobraževalnega procesa ustrezno znanje, izjemno pomembna je tudi povezava med diplomanti in njihovimi delodajalci v času študija. Delovne izkušnje, pridobljene med praktičnim usposabljanjem in študentskim delom, verjetno pozitivno vplivajo na stopnjo zaposljivosti.
V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela predstavljamo analizo vpisa in zaposljivosti na Univerzi v Novi Gorici. Na osnovi uradnih statističnih podatkov ter obsežne ankete med diplomanti preverjamo veljavnost treh hipotez. Gledano v celoti lahko ocenimo, da je bila zaposljivost diplomantov Univerze v Novi Gorici doslej zelo dobra, spodbudna je tudi povezanost med študenti in (bodočimi) delodajalci.

The diploma thesis is concerned with the issue of employability of the students who have graduated at the University of Nova Gorica. Factors which determine an individual's level of employability are his or her knowledge, skills, personal characteristics, abilities, working experience, and the like. In the course of the educational process the University of Nova Gorica offers its students appropriate knowledge as well as an opportunity to develop connections with employers. The working experience obtained during industrial placements and student work is likely to have a positive effect on the level of employability.
In the empirical part of the thesis we present an analysis of enrollment and employability data at the University of Nova Gorica. On the basis of the official statistical data and an extensive survey taken by the graduates, we test the validity of the thesis's three hypotheses. A more general evaluation is that the employability of the University of Nova Gorica graduates has been very good so far as well as that the connection between the students and the (future) employers acts as an encouraging factor.
