Abstract
Proučevanje in raziskovanje zastopanosti žensk v managementu in njihovega načina usklajevanja poklicnega in zasebnega življenja je v tem obdobju pomembna. Eden ključnih dejavnikov fleksibilnosti poslovanja podjetij je gotovo tehnologija, vendar so še pomembnejši ljudje, njihove osebne lastnosti in kompetence. Prihodnost uspešnega sodelovanj so mešani timi na vseh ravneh v podjetju. Čeprav v 21. stoletju govorimo o enakih možnostih med spoloma, imamo napredno zakonodajo s tega področja, ženske imajo enake izobraževalne in zaposlitvene možnosti, je razvidno, da so na trgu delovne sile ženske še zmeraj neenakopravne. Iz vseh strani se slišijo ideje, o katerih vse pogosteje poslušamo, da so ženske sposobnosti tiste, ki bodo v prihodnje lahko močno vplivale na to, ali bo neko podjetje uspešno poslovalo še naprej ali ne. Zdaj je pravi čas za bolj agresivni vstop žensk na vodilne položaje.
V prvem delu bom opredelila delovanje in pomen spola v sodobnem managementu, pomen kompetenc za top managerja, stile sodobnega managerja, kakšne naloge ima in pristop k vodenju danes.
V drugem delu bom obravnavala problematiko žensk v managementu. Preučevala bom področje management enakih možnosti, razvoj kariera, ovire na poklicni poti žensk, plača, usklajevanje poklicnega in zasebnega življenja. Obravnavala bom tudi specifične dejavnike zaradi katerih ženske ne zasedajo najvišji pozicij v podjetjih. V zadnjem predstavila položaj žensk na vodilnih položajih v 21. stoletju na primeru Slovenije in nekaterih držav članic EU ter ocenila potencial žensk v slovenskih podjetij. Največjo težo nalogi bo opravljena raziskava. Opredelila bom vzroke za nizko udeležbo žensk na managerskih položajih. Sklepno sem tudi podala svoja mnenja in predloge za izboljšanje situacije.

In this period when new economic reality is being developed, it is important to understand the role of women in management and their way of mananging work and private life. One of the key factors of business flexibility is certainly technology, but even more important people, their personal qualities and competences. In understanding people lies the future of successful collaboration between mixed teams at all levels. In 21 century we are discussing about equal opportunities between men and women, we are improving legislation in this field, women have equal educational opportunities, it appears that women still don't have equal employment opportunities.
From all sides is to hear ideas, which are increasingly listening to women skills which will in future be able to have a major impact on whether a company will continue to successfully operate or not. Now is the time for more aggressive entry of women into leadership positions.
In the first part of my study I will define the function and importance of sex in modern management, the importance of competencies for the top manager, styles of the modern manager and the approach to management today.
In second part I will describe the challenges women face in management.
I studied scope of management of equal opportunities, career development opportunities, barriers to women's careers, salary policies and work-life balance.
I am addressing specific factors for which women do not occupy the highest positions in companies. The study will also present status of women in leadership positions in the 21. Century in the case of Slovenia and other EU countries and will assess the potential of women's management in Slovenian companies.
Study also identifies the causes for low participation of women in managerial positions. Finally I will also present their opinion and suggestions to improve the position of women in management. |
