Analiza varnosti, zasebnosti in zaupanja rešitev "Google Apps"

Abstract

Rešitve »Google Apps« veljajo za ene izmed najbolj uporabljanih spletnih aplikacij na svetu. Ljudje v njih hranijo ogromne količine podatkov, ki so lahko zelo osebne narave. Namen in cilj diplome je, da odgovorimo na vprašanja, kako korporacija Google skrbi za varnost naših informacij, kako skrbi za zasebnost svojih uporabnikov ter kako, če sploh, uporabniki zaupajo v rešitve »Google Apps«. Da bi odgovorili na ta vprašanja, bomo uporabili študijo literature in primerjalno analizo. Zaupanje uporabnikov bomo ugotavljali z anketo. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da ima Google za varnost podatkov odlično poskrbljeno, večina uporabnikov zaupa rešitvam »Google Apps« in da imajo rešitve »Google Apps« težave z zasebnostjo uporabnikov.

Secondary abstract:	Google Apps are considered to be one of the most used web applications in the world. People use them to store massive amounts of information that can be very personal. The purpose and goal of this thesis is to answer the questions about how the Google corporation handles the security and privacy of our information, how they attend to the privacy of their users, and, also, if people trust Google Apps. To achieve these goals we will use literature study and comparative analysis. We will determine the trust of users in Google Apps with a survey. The results have shown that Google takes excelent care of security and that a large procentage of users trusts in Google Apps. Google Apps do however have problems with user privacy.
