Abstract

Diplomsko delo predstavlja problematiko izbire optimalne platforme za namene izdelave mobilne aplikacije, namenjene paketni dostavi. Problem zajema tehnološko, logistično, ekonomsko in pravno tematiko, zato smo se morali osredotočati na vsako posameznoter jo na koncu predstaviti kot celoto. Skozi raziskovanje strojne in programske opreme smo skušali izluščiti najboljše, kar ima trenutno na voljo mobilna tehnologija za potrebe paketne dostave. S predstavitvijo metodologije paketne dostave smo pridobili vpogled v logistične in pravne zahteve za razvoj programske opreme, namenjene delavnemu okolju. Po upoštevanju vseh omejitev in standardov smo pripravili koncept mobilne aplikacije, ki je konkurenčen produkt namenskim napravam. S celotnim delom smo želeli prikazati potencial pametnih mobilnih naprav v gospodarstvu, še posebej pa v logistični panogi.

Secondary abstract: This graduate work represents the problem of optimal mobile platform selection for package delivery services. Research includes technological, logistical, economical and legal issues, that needed to be reseached individually, but in the end still presented as a whole. Through the exploration of hardware and software we have tried to extract the best of what is currently available in mobile technologies for the purposes of package delivery usage. With the introduction of packet delivery methodology we gained insight into the logistical and legal requirements for the development of software designed for hardworking environment. After considering all limitations and standards we prepared a concept for mobile application, that represents a competitive product to dedicated devices. The essence of whole graduate work was to demonstrate potecial for smart mobile devices in the economy, especially in the logistics industry.
