Abstract

Secondary title: THE PRODUCTION OF MUSIC IN A RECORDING STUDIO
Secondary abstract: Studio music production is still considered to be the most used method of recording music when it comes to professional production meant for public broadcasting via radio, television and band/soloist CD albums. The production process in a recording studio is more or less stable and similar in all music studios but can vary depending on the used technology and equipment. One must have at least basic knowledge about the needed software, technical equipment and its functionalities in order to understand the process of music production in the music studio. In this paper, we are going to deal not only with the process of music production but also with the historical development of sound and acoustics in the recording booths.
