Abstract

V diplomskem delu je prikazanih in analiziranih nekaj primerov vpeljave fizikalnih vsebin skozi igro v vrtcu. Poudarek je predvsem na razvijanju sposobnosti dobrega opazovanja, problemskega razmišljanja in zmožnosti interpretacije, kar se doseže s spodbujanjem samostojne interpretacije poskusov in njihovih izidov. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in praktičnega dela. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni pedagoški vidiki in fizikalne osnove obravnavanih vsebin in poskusov. Opisan je pomen naravoslovja pri spoznavanju naravoslovnih vsebin v zgodnjem otroštvu in teoretično ozadje dveh fizikalnih pojmov - magnetizma in svetlobe. V praktičnem delu je opisana izvedba dvanajstih poskusov, ki sem jih izvajala v vrtcu. Pri vsakem od njih je zajet opis delovanja - fizikalna razlaga, sredstva, postopek, opis izvedbe poskusa ter ugotovitve in interpretacija. Za vsak poskus sem izdelala vprašalnik, na katerem so zapisana vprašanja, ki sem jih zastavila otrokom. Za vsako vprašanje so navedeni možni odgovori, dodala pa sem tudi v praksi pridobljene odgovore otrok. Dodane so fotografije otrok med izvajanjem poskusov. Analizirana je primernost posamezne igrače in poskusa z vidika varnosti, primernosti starostni stopnji, zanimanja glede na spol in uporabnosti. Poskuse sem izvajala v oddelku 5-6 let. V zaključku so opisana lastna opažanja in spoznanja, izpolnjeni cilji po Kurikulu za vrtce, materialna priprava na poskuse in prisotnost fizike v vrtcu.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of the diploma thesis entitled the Use of physics toys in teaching natural sciences in the kindergarten is to enable children to get to know the area of physics through games. In this respect, the focus is particularly on the development of good observation and problem-based thinking in children, and the ability to provide interpretations, which was achieved by encouraging the children to interpret specific experiments on their own. The diploma thesis is composed of the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part introduces pedagogic and physical theoretical foundations. It describes the meaning of natural science in learning about natural science contents in early childhood and the basics of two physical concepts, magnetism and light. The practical part describes the process of twelve experiments, which I carried out in the kindergarten. Each of them includes the description of the activity - physical explanation, instruments used, procedure, instructions for the execution, findings and interpretation. For each experiment I also prepared a questionnaire with questions intended for children, including possible or expected answers and answers gathered by children in praxis. I have analysed the appropriateness of an individual toy and experiment from the aspect of safety, suitability for the age level, interest with regard to sex, applicability. I have been carrying out tests in the department for 5-6 years. The conclusion presents my own observations and findings, completed objectives in accordance with the kindergarten curriculum, material preparation for experiments and the presence of physics in kindergarten.
