Secondary abstract: | In the design of retaining structures different types of structures are available. It is necessary to choose the optimal retaining structures for each case. In this diploma thesis the geotechnical analysis of retaining structures of reinforced soil is presented. The stability analysis was performed for three different designs of retaining structures. The stability of retaining wall increases in the case stepped retaining wall. The ultimate limit state has been analyzed according to SIST EN 1997–1 and EBGEO (Recommendations for Design and Analysis of Earth Structures using Geosynthetic Reinforcements). |
