Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo izvedli validacijo spektrofotometrične metode določanja fenolnega indeksa s 4 - aminoantipirinom v skladu s standardom SIST ISO 6439:1996 (metoda B) in ovrednotili merilno negotovost za vzorce izlužkov odpadkov kovinske industrije fenolnega indeksa. S postopkom ekstrakcije trdno - tekoče oz. izluževanjem, kjer odstranjujemo s pomočjo topila iz trdnih zmesi topne komponente, smo pripravljali izlužke različnih odpadkov iz kovinske industrije. Kot topilo smo uporabili destilirano vodo. V izlužkih odpadkov: obzidave in ognjevzdržnih materialov, filtrskega prahu iz industrije brusov, filtrskega prahu iz industrije aluminija ter odpadnega livarskega peska, smo določili koncentracijo fenolnega indeksa in jo primerjali z vrednostjo iz uredbe o odpadkih (Uredba o odpadkih, Uradni list RS, št. 103/2011), ki ne sme presegati 100 mg/l. Validacija analizne metode je obsegala določitev merilnega območja, mejo zaznavnosti, mejo določljivosti, linearnost, natančnost in točnost meritev ter pregled vpliva interferenc. Rezultati validacije so potrdili, da je metoda natančna, točna in zato primerna za določanje fenolnega indeksa v izlužkih odpadkov kovinske industrije. S preskušanjem smo ugotovili, da znaša merilna negotovost rezultatov ± 16,1 % (faktor pokritja k = 2 predstavlja 95 % stopnjo zaupanja) in je bila določena po modelu, ki uporablja validacijske podatke.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of this thesis was to perform validation of phenol index spectrophotometric method with 4 - aminoantipyrine according to SIST ISO 6439:1996 (method B). Measurement uncertainty of waste leachates for metal industry was determined. Leachates from different metal industry waste were prepared by the extraction procedure, where soluble components are removed from solid. Distilled water was used as a solvent. Phenol index was determined in leachates from following materials: spent pot lining and fire resistant materials, filter dust from abrasives industry, filter dust from aluminium industry and spent foundry sand. According to the Decree on Waste Management (Official Gazette, No. 103/2011), phenol index in waste leachates should not exceed 100 mg/l. Validation included determination of measuring range, limit of detection, limit of quantification, linearity, precision of measurements, accuracy and influence of interferences. Validation results confirmed precision and accuracy of the method. Method is applicable for determination of phenol index in waste leachates for metal industry. Measurement uncertainty was calculated and evaluated using model equation and validation data. It is ± 16.1 % (the coverage factor k = 2).
