Secondary title: | Optimisation of the assembly set order in the system of digital signal transmission |
Secondary abstract: | The thesis presents the issue of planning the construction of a digital television network. It first describes the structure of Radio-television Slovenia (RTV Slovenia) and the history of broadcasting. Furthermore, it provides insight into the functioning and tasks of the Department of Transmitters and Communications and presents the digital television network as well as various ABC analyses of the network. The thesis concludes by offering an optimal arrangement of work orders for the construction of the network. ABC analysis of the number of viewers of an individual system delivered useful information for planning the size and control of the antenna system. We conducted an ABC analysis of TX connections in order to determine microwave backbone links. The results contributed to determining the priorities when troubleshooting several connection problems at the same time. The ABC analysis of TX connections was necessary for defining the percentage of signal coverage of each TX antenna system and thus calculating the coverage of the entire system. We established that 95 % coverage could be attained in 40 business days. |
