(diplomsko delo)
Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo opisali obravnavo pacienta s skoliozo. Rezultati so bili pričakovani in so potrdili cilje katere smo si zastavili. Z analizo pridobljenih podatkov smo določili aktualne in potencialne negovalne diagnoze in ugotovili, da so prioritetne negovalne diagnoze predvsem samonega, zmanjšana zmožnost samostojnega izvajanja osebne higiene in opravljanje telesne potrebe, utrujenost, navzea, nevarnost padcev in strah.

Nursing the patient with scoliosis |
Secondary abstract: |
In the diploma paper we described the treatment of a patient with scoliosis. Scoliosis is an incorrectly curved spine, which can develop in different periods of our lives and the reason for it is often unknown. It causes various problems and is being treated in several ways. The purpose of the diploma paper is to describe the treatment of a patient, and with a case study to show the health care and the role of a nurse. Especially we highlighted the pain and self-care before and after the surgery. The research is based on a case study of a patient with scoliosis, specifically before and after the surgery, where the patient was confronted with open questions. Patient treatment was conducted according to basic living activities. As a basis, we used the conceptual model of Virginia Henderson, but we have expanded the model because of the specific needs of a patient with scoliosis with a more precise description of the treatment of pain and the ability to self-care after surgery. The results were as expected and confirmed the goals that we have set ourselves. Patient’s life after the surgery has significantly improved. On average, the patient is free of pain and can take care of himself, because the patient is no longer limited by the pain in his daily activities. With the analysis of the data we determined current and potential nursing diagnoses and found out that the priority nursing diagnoses are especially health care, reduced ability to independently carry out personal hygiene and perform physical needs, tiredness, nausea, risk of falls and fear. The patient is for his health and a successful rehabilitation mainly responsible himself, how he abides given instructions and how he is receptive to learning. |
