diplomsko delo
Marko Kišek (Author), Iztok Potrč (Mentor)

Abstract

Secondary title: Renewable of warehousing of low and middle radioactive materials in NEK
Secondary abstract: Nuclear Power Plant Krško, abbrevation NEK produces about 5 billions kWh annually, which is nearly 40% of all electrical energy in Slovenia. This diploma is composed of two chapters. In the first chapter theories of warehousing are briefly delineated. Second chapter of diploma delineates the nuclear power plant functioning and then focuses on warehousing of low- and medium-radioactive wastes in NEK. First part about warehousing describes warehouse area and system of warehousing being used. After that the improved way of warehousing, which would enable larger quantity of containers, is presented. By implementing of pallet racks their storage efficiency would increase.
