Abstract

Diplomska naloga obravnava in rešuje problematiko nastanka strjevalne poroznosti v ulitku iz aluminija pri procesu tlačnega litja. Strjevalna poroznost se je pojavljala na mestih, kjer take poroznosti nismo mogli odpraviti. S pomočjo naše standardne tehnologije te težave nismo mogli odpraviti in smo bili v podjetju prisiljeni poiskati novo rešitev.Odločili smo se za nakup stroja jet cool sistem LETHIGUEL HDK4, s katerim bi težavno strjevalno poroznost odpravili. Novo tehnologijo je bilo potrebno v proces tlačnega litja najprej vpeljati s predelavo tlačnega orodja ter nato proces tlačnega litja naknadno zoptimirati.Po uporabi stroja jet cool sistem LETHIGUEL HDK4 in po optimiranju litja so bili rezultati vidni že po prvem preizkusu. Strjevalno poroznost smo namreč v celoti odpravili.

Secondary title: Manufacturing process optimization of die casting with jet cool system
Secondary abstract: Diploma thesis adresses and solves the problem of occurrence of solidification porosity in aluminium casting at the die casting process. Solidification porosity occured in area where such porosity could not be removed. With our standard technology that problem could not be eliminated and our company was forced to find a new solution. We have decided to buy the machine jet cool sistem LETHIGUEL HDK4 which would eliminate the difficult porosity. With the help of new tehnology paralely we would solve the problem of the sticked aluminium on the cores on the die and consequently also reduce abrasive corrosion of the die. Because of this new tehnology first we had to optimizate the die and after this we could then optimizate the die casting process. After optimization of the die casting process with the machine LETHIGUEL HDK4 good results were seen right after the first test. The solidification porosity was entirely eliminated.
