Abstract

Secondary abstract: Nowadays, each production process is part of a global market, and enterprises are obliged to continuously improve the competitive potential of their production processes. One of the tools designed to bring about the desired improvement is the introduction of TPM (Total productive Maintenance) into the production process. TPM is an important activity that can be used in the implementation of a quality management system, as the latter has a direct impact on product quality. TPM is an efficient production management system. It results in cost, quality and delivery improvements. It includes all employees. It has emerged as a standard application world wide, and is presently used to achieve and maintain »global competitivenes«. With the successful implementation of TPM methods-a in the company, reducing congestion and failure of the Odelo machinery and with the constant search for improvements, as well as concrete and the day-to-day involvement of all employees, and achieve greater efficiency. In the process of metallisation is the efficiency of machinery increased by as much as 15 %, improve the situation in the field of quality and supply themselves, sales and savings which doubled.
