Abstract

Diplomsko delo predstavlja temo Poškodbe otrok v vrtcu in vlogo vzgojitelja. Teoretični del smo razdelili na štiri sklope: najpogostejše poškodbe v vrtcu, prva pomoč, kriteriji varnega okolja ter vloga vzgojitelja. Navedli in opisali smo ukrepe v vrtcu v primeru poškodbe, opisali varnost v notranjih prostorih, varnost na prostem, varne igrače in odgovornost vzgojitelja varnost otrok, načine ravnanja v primeru poškodbe otroka ter načrt vrtca za ukrepanje ob nujnih stanjih. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave, izvedene v vrtcu Otona Župančiča Slovenska Bistrica. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 30 strokovnih delavk. Rezultate smo dobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, ki je vseboval 18 vprašanj. Namen raziskave je ugotoviti poškodbe, ki se najpogosteje zgodijo med otrokovim bivanjem v vrtcu in vlogo vzgojitelja. Ugotovitve so pokazale, da so poškodbe, ki se najpogosteje pojavljajo v vrtcu, odrgnine in udarnine. Veliko vlogo v primeru poškodbe imajo vzgojitelji, za katere smo ugotovili, da znajo v danem primeru v večini dobro ukrepati.

Secondary abstract: The theme Children's injuries in kindergarten and the role of a pre-school teacher is presented in the diploma thesis. The theoretical part has been divided into four parts, namely, the most common kindergarten injuries, first aid, safety environmental criteria, and pre-school teacher's role. The most common kindergarten injuries are enumerated and regulatory measures in case of an injury are described. The equipment that an employer must provide is described as well as first aid techniques. Safety environmental criteria includes safety in inner spaces, outdoor safety, and safe toys. Responsibility of pre-school teachers for children's safety as well as measures and ways of handling in case of a child's injury, and the kindergarten's plan for emergency state are described. In the empirical part of the thesis, results of a research, conducted in the kindergarten Vrtec Otona Župančiča Slovenska Bistrica, are presented. 30 professional workers participated in the research. The results were acquired with the help of questionnaire survey, which contained 18 questions. The aim of the research was to establish injuries that most often occur in kindergartens and what is the role of a teacher. Findings showed that the most common injuries in kindergartens are abrasions and contusions. Pre-school teachers play a vital part in case of an injury and it was established that they mostly take appropriate measures.
