Abstract

Odnosi z mediji in javnostmi postajajo vedno bolj pomembni in nepogrešljivi del družbe, predvsem v poslovnem svetu. Pomagajo vzpostavljati in ohranjati medsebojno komuniciranje, razumevanje, zaupanje in sodelovanje med organizacijami ter okoljem. V diplomskem seminarju je zajeta opredelitev osnovnih pojmov, načrtovanje in izvajanje odnosov z javnostmi, ter odnosov z mediji. Posebej so predstavljena orodja odnosov z mediji, od teh sem več pozornosti namenila novinarski konferenci. Ugotovila sem, da morajo biti odnosi z javnostmi in mediji skrbno načrtovani (kaj so naši cilji, kdo bo pri tem sodeloval, koliko imamo sredstev in koliko časa), saj lahko le tako dosežemo hoteno.

Secondary abstract: Media and public relations are becoming an increasingly important and indispensable part of society, especially in the business world. They tend to aid the process of establishing and maintaining mutual communication, perception, trust and co-operation between organizations and the surroundings. This dissertation covers the definition of basic concepts, design and implementation of public and media relations. Tools of media relations have been addressed in particular, with special attention given to press conference. I have come to a conclusion that media and public relations have to be planned in a careful manner; determining what our goals are, who is going to participate, what resources we have at our disposal and what our time limitations are; as this will enable us to achieve our goal.
