Abstract

Secondary title: ASSIGNING HUMAN EMOTIONS TO FICTIONAL 3D CHARACTERS
Secondary abstract: Diploma is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part we gather knowledge about human behaviour, emotions, anatomy of bones and muscles of the face, facial expressions of six basic categories of emotions and the state of fictional characters in art and contemporary 3D entertainment industry. We make an analysis of the importance of facial parts in displaying emotions. This eases the process of creating our own fictional character. The second part of the diploma takes into account all the knowledge from the theoretical part and uses it in practice. The work process begins with a blank sheet of paper and a pencil and finishes with a short 3D animation that shows our fictional character while experiencing different emotions.
