Abstract

Konkurenčna prednost je ena izmed bistvenih lastnosti, ki jih mora imeti podjetje, da dosega dobre poslovne rezultate oziroma da sploh lahko preživi v krutem obdobju recesije. Poleg tega, da ima podjetje dobre, kakovostne proizvode, zadovoljne kupce, primerljive cene s konkurenco, je še kako pomembno, da so zaposleni primerno izobraženi, motivirani, da delovni procesi tečejo nemoteno in ne nazadnje, da podjetje uporablja dobre in konkurenčne celovite informacijske rešitve. Včasih so v podjetjih evidence vodili ročno, zapisovali podatke na liste, jih shranjevali v mape, fascikle, te pa shranjevali v omare, sobe. Računovodkinje so imele v pisarnah na tone papirja, projektanti so vse risali na roke, inventure so se izvajale ročno, zabeleženo na liste papirja. S postopno uvedbo informacijskega sistema so se stvari začele vnašati tudi v elektronski obliki, najprej v enostavnih programih, kasneje v vedno bolj zapletenih. Tehnologija napreduje iz dneva v dan in kmalu tudi položnic več ne bomo dobili v papirni obliki, temveč preko e-računov. V podjetju morajo temeljito razmisliti o tem, kako uporaben informacijski sistem imajo. Ali so na tem področju izrabljene vse možnosti, ali bi mogoče kazalo o nadgradnji informacijskega sistema ali mogoče o nakupu celovitih informacijskih rešitev? Celovite informacijske rešitve namreč omogočajo povezavo med različnimi moduli, boljšo izrabo podatkov, izvedbo analiz, lažji in boljši prikaz podatkov, hitrejši dostop podatkov, povezavo z dobavitelji, kupci in poslovnimi partnerji, … Ravno zato se podjetja v večini odločajo o nakupu celovitih informacijskih rešitev, saj je razvoj lastnih rešitev preveč dolgotrajen in zahteven proces, ki zahteva precej denarnih sredstev. Pri odločitvi o izbiri celovitih informacijskih rešitev določenega podjetja je potrebno preveriti veliko različnih dejavnikov, od cene, izkušenj uvajajočega podjetja na podobnih projektih, ustreznosti posameznih modulov, povezanosti modulov med seboj, usposobljenosti uvajalcev, … Ta korak je za podjetje izredno pomemben, saj je od izbire ustrezne celovite informacijske rešitve odvisna tudi uspešnost uvedbe le-te. V prvi fazi je treba zaposlene prepričati, da je zamenjava informacijskega sistema potreben korak, ki bo izboljšal in olajšal delo. Pomembno je, da se obe strani (podjetje, ki ponuja celovite informacijske rešitve in podjetje, ki bo rešitve kupilo) držita dogovorjenih zahtev in rokov. Secondary title: Satisfaction with comprehensive IT solutions and their introduction in the case of Pro-bit programska oprema d.o.o.
Secondary abstract: Competitive advantage is one of the major features a company must possess in order to achieve good business results or, at least, to survive in the cruel period of recession. In addition to having good, quality products, happy customers and prices comparable to those of its competitors, it is also vital that the persons employed by the company have suitable education and motivation, and that work processes run smoothly. Last but not least, the company must also use good and competitive overall IT solutions. Companies used to keep records manually, writing down data on paper and storing the papers in folders and loose-leaf binders, only to store these in cabinets and rooms. Accountants would have tons of papers in their offices, design engineers would draw plans by hand and inventory controls would be carried out manually, writing everything down on paper. With the gradual introduction of the IT system, items began to be entered electronically; first, into simple programmes and later on in increasingly complex ones. Technology is making progress day by day and, soon, bills will no longer come in paper form, but as e-invoices. Every company needs to give detailed consideration to the usefulness of its IT system. Has the company used up all possibilities or would it be possible to upgrade the IT system or perhaps purchase comprehensive IT solutions? These provide a link between various modules, better utilization of data, performance of analyses, an easier and better display of data, faster access to the data, a link with the suppliers, customers and business partners and so on. It is for this reason that companies tend to decide on purchasing comprehensive IT solutions, with the development of own solutions being a too lengthy and demanding process that requires quite a lot of funds. When making a decision regarding the selection of overall IT solutions at a certain company, you need to examine several different factors, starting with the price, the experience of the introducing company at similar projects, the adequacy of individual modules, the interrelation of the modules as well as the qualifications exhibited by the introducers. This step is vital for the company, as the choice of a suitable comprehensive IT solution largely affects the successfulness of its implementation. In stage one, employees need to be persuaded that a replacement of the IT system is an important step that will improve and facilitate their work. It is also vital that both sides – the company offering comprehensive IT solutions and the company purchasing the solutions – abide by the requirements and deadlines agreed upon.
