Abstract

V delu so predstavljene problematika elektromehanskih nihanj sinhronskega generatorja in metode za njihovo dušenje. Analizirano je delovanje stabilizatorjev elektroenergetskega sistema na izbranih generatorjih v štirih hidroelektrarnah. Opravljene so bile meritve nihanj moči, vrtljajev, napetosti generatorja in vzbujalne napetosti v več obratovalnih točkah na različnih generatorjih, ki imajo vgrajene klasične stabilizatorje. V ta namen je bil razvit merilni sistem v okolju LabView. Opravljena je bila primerjava nihanj ob vključenih in izključenih stabilizatorjih elektromehanskih nihanj. Rezultati kažejo, da stabilizatorji dobro dušijo nihanja v ožjem območju moči, medtem ko jih v posameznih primerih celo povečujejo. Priporočamo izklop stabilizatorjev pri manjših delovnih obremenitvah in preverjanje nastavitev pri stabilizatorjih, ki slabše dušijo nihanja na širšem obratovalnem področju.

Secondary title: Analysis of power system stabilizers operation
Secondary abstract: The subject of master thesis is analysis of power system stabilizers (PSS) installed on synchronous generators. Electromechanical oscillations were analysed by measuring of active power, rotating speed, generator voltage and excitation voltage on different operating points. A special measuring system – virtual instrument was developed in a student version of LabView. We compared power oscillations of the synchronous generator with active PSS to oscillations without PSS. It is concluded that electromechanical oscillations are effectively damped only in a narrow operating range however in some particular cases PSS even amplifies oscillations instead of damping them. According to the results of the analysis we suggest to activate PSS algorithm only in upper range of active power. Stabilizers with weak or negative damping factor should be checked and readjusted.
