Abstract

V diplomskem delu je predstavljena izvedba nizkocenovnega pulznega oksimetra z možnostjo povezave z osebnim računalnikom preko vmesnika USB. Zanj je izdelana programska aplikacija, katere funkcionalnost zajema pravilno konfiguracijo strojne opreme, merilne algoritme in uporabniški vmesnik za prikaz meritev. Zasnova pulznega oksimetra temelji na Texas Instruments AFE4490 integriranem vezju in razvojnem okolju LabVIEW. Izbrana strojna oprema je zaradi svoje kompaktnosti in funkcionalnosti primerna izbira za izdelavo nizkocenovnega pulznega oksimetra. Enako velja za razvojno okolje LabVIEW, saj omogoča enostavno nadgradnjo izdelane programske aplikacije z dodatnimi merilnimi in kalibracijskimi algoritmi.

Secondary abstract: The thesis presents implementation of low-cost pulse oximeter with connectivity to personal computer through USB interface. Software application was developed which functionality includes configuration of hardware, measurement algorithms and user interface through which we display the results of measurement. Design of pulse oximeter is based around Texas Instruments AFE4490 integrated circuit and LabVIEW development environment. Chosen hardware is because of its compact size and wide range of functionality appropriate choice for production of low-cost pulse oximeter. The same applies for LabVIEW development environment which enables easy upgrade of software application and its measurement and calibration algorithms.
