diplomsko delo
Abstract

SUBSTITUTES OF NON-VERBAL IN TEXT COMMUNICATION ON WORLD WIDE WEB |
Secondary abstract: |
In today's fast-paced world a lot of our communication takes place over the World Wide Web, this communication is mostly text and is called computer-mediated communication. Many researchers argue that this type of communication lacks the non-verbal part, which is why the purpose of this diploma thesis is to explore how users compensate for this deficit. This thesis provides an overview and an explanation of the basic concepts, such as communication, social networks and computer-mediated communication. The second part of the thesis covers the non-verbal forms of online communication and examples of their use. |
