diplomska naloga
Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava matematične osnove in delovanje navideznih globusov in prostorske podatke, povezane z njimi. Na primeru Google Zemlje je predstavljena sestava navideznega globusa in z njim povezanih slojev. Obravnavani so tudi ostali poznani navidezni globusi, s poudarkom na slovenskem izdelku GAEA+.
Predstavljena so odprtokodna orodja, katera so bila potrebna za izdelavo končnega izdelka - spletne karte API, ki vsebuje trirazsežne modele muzejev, ki ležijo v občini Zreče. Ti modeli so bili modelirani z orodjem Trimble SketchUp in preneseni v spletno knjižnico modelov Trimble 3D Warehouse.
V končni fazi so bili modelirani 3D objekti prikazani v navideznem globusu Google Zemlja. Ogledati jih je mogoče neposredno v okolju Google Zemlja ali v izdelani interaktivni spletni aplikaciji, ki temelji na tehnologiji Google Zemlja API. Oba načina sta tudi teoretično predstavljena v okviru diplomske naloge.

Secondary abstract: |
The thesis deals with the mathematical basics of virtual globes, sets of spatial data associated with them, and their technology of acquisition. Structure of virtual globes and their related data layers are presented in Google Earth case, while other virtual globes with emphasis on the Slovenian product Gaea +, are presented, too.
Open Source were used to produce the final product - online web API, containing three-dimensional models of museums located in Zreče community are presented. These models have been modelled with the SketchUp tool and uploaded to the 3D Warehouse online models library.
In the final stage two ways to display three-dimensional models are presented, the first is Google Earth application and second through the website using API technology. |
