Abstract

V magistrskem delu bomo predstavili sistem pametne hiše SmartHome, ki smo ga razvili za uporabo na mobilni platformi Android in deluje na osnovi mikrokrmilnika Arduino. Sistem SmartHome uporabnikom omogoča oddaljeno upravljanje in nadzor nad pametno hišo. Pred začetkom uporabe aplikacije se uporabniki registrirajo znotraj mobilne aplikacije in tako pridobijo dostop do svoje pametne hiše preko mobilne aplikacije, ki obsega modul profila, videonadzora, nadzora naprav in sporočanja, tlorisnega pogleda, nastavitev ter arhiva prijav in videonadzora. Sistem prav tako omogoča samodejno upravljanje naprav glede na vrednosti senzorjev in uporabo scenarijev (na primer izklop vseh naprav), nastavitev termostata in še mnogo več. Skozi magistrsko delo bomo predstavili zgodovino pametnih hiš, mikrokrmilnik Arduino in mobilno platformo Android, mobilno aplikacijo SmartHome in njeno delovanje ter vso potrebno infrastrukturo, ki omogoča delovanje le-te. Prav tako bomo izdelali vzorčno maketo, kjer bomo prikazali delovanje pametne hiše.

Secondary abstract: In this master thesis we are going to present a smart home system named SmartHome, which was developed for use on the Android mobile platform and is based on the Arduino microcontroller. The SmartHome system allows users to remotely manage and control a smart home. Before users may start using our system, they have to register within the mobile application to gain access to their homes via the mobile application, which includes a profile module, video surveillance, device control and communication overview, a plan view module, settings module and user login and video surveillance archive module. The system also allows automatic control of devices based on the values of sensors, user scenarios (for example turning off all devices), setting up the thermostat and much more. Through the study, we are going to present the history of the beginnings of smart houses, the Arduino microcontroller and the Android mobile platform as well as the SmartHome mobile application and its functions and all necessary infrastructure, which enables the SmartHome to operate properly. We will also create a sample model of a smart home in which we are going to demonstrate the smart home in action.
