Abstract

V diplomski nalogi smo predstavili eno izmed tehnologij, ki pretvarja obnovljive vire energije v nam koristno toplotno energijo. Ogrevali smo manjši bivalni objekt (počitniško hišico) s toplozračnimi sprejemniki sončne energije. V uvodnem delo smo predstavili sončno energijo, tu smo izpostavili osnovne pojme, ki so potrebni za razumevanje pretvarjanja sončne energije v toplotno energijo. V nadaljevanju so predstavljeni osnovni tipi sončnih kolektorjev, naprave in oprema za prezračevanje in ogrevanje. Za določitev moči ogrevalne naprave je bilo potrebno izračunati toplotne izgube bivalnega objekta. Ko smo dobili vse potrebne podatke, smo jih obdelali s programsko opremo RETScreen. Toplozračni sprejemniki sončne energije so upravičili investicijo v alternativne vire energije. V diplomski nalogi smo ugotovili, da se začetna investicija relativno hitro povrne. Investitorju pa predstavlja 20 do 50 % prihranka pri ogrevanju bivalnih prostorov, kar pa je odvisno od lege in kraja postavitve sprejemnikov.

Secondary abstract: The thesis presents one of the technologies which convert renewable energy sources into useful thermal energy. A small residential unit (holiday home) was heated by using solar hot air panels. In the introduction we discussed solar energy and we exposed the basic terms important for understanding the solar energy conversion into heat. Then we presented the basic types of solar panels, devices and equipment for controlled air ventilation and heating. To determine the nominal power of a heating device the heat losses of the building had to be calculated. Once all the necessary data were gathered they were processed using the RETScreen software. The heating with a renewable source of energy using solar hot air panels proved to be worth of its investment. In the thesis we ascertained that the initial investment is paid out in relatively short period, and the investor saves from 20% to 50% of energy needed for heating, depending on the orientation of solar panels and the location.
