Knjižna ilustracija in poskusi knjižne ilustracije v praksi

Abstract

Tema diplomskega dela izhaja iz naslova Knjižna ilustracija in poskus knjižne ilustracije v praksi. V diplomskem delu je obravnavan pojem ilustracije, obča zgodovina knjižne ilustracije in knjižna ilustracija na Slovenskem; pri le- tej je izpostavljen srednji vek, začetki založništva na Slovenskem ter izbrani slovenski knjižni ilustratorji starejše generacije. Na koncu diplomskega dela je v praktičnem delu predstavljen poskus knjižne ilustracije v praksi, gre za avtorske ilustracije zgodb v že izdani knjigi slovenskega pisatelja. Namen diplomskega dela je raziskati pojem knjižne ilustracije in izoblikovati študijski pregled knjižne ilustracije s poudarkom na razmerju med tekstom in ilustracijo. S tem namenom so narejene analize posamičnih avtorjev - ilustratorjev in medsebojna primerjava določenih avtorjev. Metodologija dela izhaja iz raziskovalnih metod ter uporabljenih virov, pri čemer sem upoštevala naslednjo metodologijo dela: analizo vsebine, strukturno analizo, primerjalno analizo, dialektično sintezo, abstrakcijo, konkretizacijo, generalizacijo, specializacijo, klasifikacijo (po Šešiću, 1974) ter metodologijo dela po Mužiću (1977): zgodovinsko metodo, deskriptivno metodo, komparativno metodo. Uporabljeni so bili primarni viri, t.j. literatura v obliki knjižnega gradiva, časopisnih člankov in razstavnih katalogov ter sekundarni viri: enciklopedije, slovarji in priročniki. Dodatne vire sem črpala iz spletnih virov. Cilj diplomskega dela je bil smiselni prikaz likovnega razvoja knjižne ilustracije v umetnostnozgodovinskem okvirju ter nato aplikacija le- tega na praktični del diplomskega dela.

Secondary abstract:	The topic of this diploma work is derived from the title A book illustration and the Experiment of Book Illustration within Practice. In this diploma work the concept of illustration and the book illustration in Slovenia are discussed, but the middle age is exposed and the beginning of publishing in Slovenia and chosen Slovene illustrator belonging to older generation. At the end of this diploma work in the practical part the try of the book illustration in practice is introduced; they are autorial illustrations of the stories in a published book of the Slovene author. The aim of this diploma work was to research the concept of the book illustration and to create the study overview of the book illustration with the focus of the proportion between the text and the illustration. That's why the analasis of the individual authors- illustrators was done and the comparision of the definite authors. The methodology of this work is derived from the research methods and the souces which were used. The following methodology of work was considered; content analasis, structural analasys, comparative analasis, dialectic syntesis, abstraction, exemplification, generalisation, specialisation, classification (Šešić, 1974) and the methodology of work by Mužić (1977): historical method, descriptive method, comparative method. Primary sources were used; literature as study material, newspaper articles and exhibition catalogues, and secondary sources; encyclopedias, dictionaries, and manuals. Supplementary sources are drawn from the internet. The aim of this diploma work is to introduce sensibility of the development of the art of the book illustration in the cultural- historical frame and then to apply it to practical part of the diploma work.
