Secondary title: | The influence of different production technologies on the properties of spring steels |
Secondary abstract: | Diploma is based on the content of my practical education in a company Štore Steel d.o.o. is a mini steel plant, that manufactures carbon and low-alloy steels, which differ according to their purpose. These include a spring steel manufactured with two different technologies that differ in a way of deoxidation of the melt. All steels in the company are made from scrap metal. The theoretical part of the diploma presents the spring steel manufacturing processes in the company and their effects on the properties of steels. The practical part describes an analysis of samples of steel 51CrV4 manufactured by deoxidation with aluminum and with deoxidation with silicon and manganese. Different samples were examined with optical and electron microscope and EDS micro-analyzer. |
