Abstract

V prvem delu diplomske naloge je na kratko prikazana problematika elektrofiltrskega pepela (EFP) z ekološkega vidika ter možnosti njegove nadaljnje uporabe v gradbeništvu. V drugem delu smo določili fizikalne lastnosti dveh tipov EFP. Prvi EFP ostane pri izgorevanju rjavega premoga, in drugi,drugi pa pri izgorevanju lignita. Na obeh tipih EFP smo izdelali standardne laboratorijske preiskave kot so določitev gostote, finosti, prostorninske obstojnosti. Določili smo tudi začetek in konec vezanja obeh EFP, kar smo storili tudi na vzorcih, kjer je EFP delno nadomestil cement. Na standardnih vzorcih, kjer je EFP delni nadomestek cementa, smo določili tlačne in upogibne trdnosti. Potrdili smo tezo, da vrsta EFP vpliva na začetek in konec vezanja. Pri delnem nadomestku EFP s cementom pa je čas vezanja odvisen predvsem od lastnosti cementa. Prav tako je prikazan časovni razvoj tlačne in upogibne trdnosti na vzorcih izvedenih po standardu, kjer smo cement delno nadomestili z EFP.

Secondary abstract: In the first part of the diploma thesis we have summarized the problem of the fly ash from the ecological point of view and the possibility of its further use in construction. In the second part we have determined physical properties of two types of the fly ash. The first type of the fly ash is a result of the combustion of the brown coal; the second type is a result of the combustion of lignite. We have conducted laboratory tests on both types of the fly ash, such as the determination of density, fineness and soundness test. We have set the initial and the final setting time of both types of fly ash as well, what has been also done on samples where the fly ash has partially replaced cement. In the standard samples where the fly ash has been a partial replacement of the cement we have determined the compressive and flexural strength. We have confirmed the hypothesis that the type of the fly ash has an impact on the initial and the final setting time. The setting time in the process of the partial substitution of the fly ash with the cement has mainly depended on the properties of the cement. We have also presented the time evolution of the compressive and flexural strength of the samples carried out by the standard where the cement has been partially replaced by the fly ash.
