Abstract

Dovoljena meja preseganj delcev PM10 in ostala pomembna določila glede delcev PM10 so zapisana v evropski Direktivi 2008/50/ES.

Secondary title: Impact of traffic on pollution with PM10 in Slovenia
Secondary abstract: The increased concentration of PM10 particles in the air is a big problem for the countries of the European Union. One of these countries is also Slovenia. Sources that cause air pollution with PM10 particles are mostly traffic, industry, secondary sources, and others. The sources of pollution are holistically interrelated and cannot be distinguished properly. When it comes to pollution, the traffic presents a big problem in Slovenia, because the average age of a car is 8,2 years. In accordance with this average age there are more engines that satisfy lower European emission standards. This results in polluted city centres and urban areas. Within the country's measurement network, measurements of PM10 are performed on different locations in Slovenia. The data is then sent to European Commission. The allowed level of PM10 exceedances and other important information about PM10 are written in European Directive 2008/50/EC.
