Abstract

Secondary title: Reorganization of internal transport in the Industrial zone Impol
Secondary abstract: The thesis attempts to find a solution to the issue of excessive load at the entrance station as well as in the Impol industrial zone. It first presents the theoretical grounds relating to this area, followed by an insight into the current situation in the industrial zone and its critical analysis. The thesis then proposes a solution to this issue, provides a detailed description including approximate costs of the implementation of the project, and tests the viability of the reorganization. The evaluation and assessment suggest that, even when the reason for change is not economic, costs can be reduced to the extent that the investment is recovered and the company generates profits. This example shows that resolving a certain problem, although not in order to reduce costs but merely to lessen excessive load, can result in lower costs.
