Abstract

Secondary title: COLD AND HEAT STORAGE
Secondary abstract: In this thesis, three types of accumulators will be presented: the steam accumulator, the accumulator for hot water and the cold storage accumulator. Such accumulation reservoirs can be used for several different purposes. It is possible to save money with their usage within the industry as expenses for operations and producing equipment can significantly be reduced as a result of their implementation. Also the accumulation reservoirs allow greater efficiency of energy consumption, which means that they can reduce emissions of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. From this point of view it can be concluded that their use will increase in the future. The characteristics and properties of heat and cold accumulators are listed within this thesis. In addition, we have displayed a variety of wiring systems, in which we focus on previously mentioned accumulators. With the help of Mathcad program, we also did calculations of heat losses on hot water heat accumulator.
