Abstract

V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni možni načini zlorab plačilnih kartic, pridobivanja podatkov o plačilnih karticah s poudarkom na nameščanju skimming-naprav, ponarejanja plačilnih kartic, anti-skimming in druge zaščite pred tovrstnimi dejanji, preiskovanju in zakonodaji v Sloveniji.

Secondary abstract: The introduction of new technologies in the world is to help the users by their work, fun, rest,.. etc.. However there may be bad side. When it comes to technology users connect with the world in a way that they are used for the purpose of payment, it becomes interesting for criminals. Criminals dealing with such criminal practices are trying every way to get the user's money. For all possible ways of payment they are trying to find a way of abuse. If it comes to abuse depends on various factors. In this part the security is dependent on the behavior of each individual user. This master work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part presents the possible misuse of payment cards, to obtain information on payment cards with an focus on installing skimming devices, counterfeiting credit cards, anti-skimming and other protection against such acts, investigation and law in Slovenia. In the empirical part the research was conducted using a questionnaire. In this way we try to figure out what impact that users of certain means of payment, identify installed skimming device which security measures to help improve the safety and find the safest way of usage. The research results show that to a large extent on the perception of such devices affect the frequency of use, security measures are in line with the recommendations of the theory, the safest way is dependent on various factors.
