Evalvacija Vijolice, programa za ozaveščanje o trgovini z ljudmi

Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava razliko med ozaveščenostjo mladostnikov o trgovini z ljudmi pred in po predavanju preventivnega programa Vijolica, ki ga izvajajo zaposleni in prostovoljci Društva Ključ. V teoretičnem delu naloge smo se osredotočili na značilnosti mladostništva, opredelitev trgovine z ljudmi in trgovine z otroki ter preventivni program Vijolica. Drugi del naloge pa temelji na raziskavi, ki smo jo opravili z dvema anketnima vprašalnikoma, ki so ju dijaki izpolnili pred in po predavanju. Anketi je izpolnilo 108 dijakov Srednje zdravstvene šole Ljubljana in 81 dijakov Srednje šole za farmacijo, kozmetiko in zdravstvo. Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da je pred predavanjem Vijolice večina mladostnikov že slišala za trgovino z ljudmi ter da znajo po predavanju bolje prepoznati njene značilnosti. Ugotovili smo, da se večina mladostnikov že pred predavanjem ne bi odpravila na koncert ali tekmo v tujino, če bi jih povabil neznanec in jim podaril brezplačno karto, po predavanju se odstotek še poveča. Prav tako smo prišli do spoznanja, da bi se več kot tretjina mladostnikov dobila z nekom, ki so ga spoznali prek Facebooka ali spletne klepetalnice, po predavanju bi se za to odločilo le nekaj odstotkov manj dijakov. Zato je pomembno, da se v preventivnem programu Vijolica še posebej poudari (ne)varnost Facebooka in spletnih klepetalnic. Poleg tega smo ugotovili, da so mladostniki po predavanju Vijolica bolje poučeni o tem, kaj zajema trgovina z ljudmi, o dejavnikih tveganja in strategijah odločanja.

Secondary abstract:	This diploma paper discusses the difference between the awareness of adolescents concerning trafficking in human beings before and after the workshop given by the prevention program Vijolica (Violet). The program is carried out by the Society Ključ staff and volunteers. In the theoretical part of the paper, we have focused on the characteristics of adolescence, the definition of trafficking in human beings, as well as the trafficking of children and the prevention program Vijolica. The second part of the paper is based on the research, which has been carried out by the means of two survey questionnaires. The questionnaires were filled out before and after the workshop by 108 students of Secondary School of Nursing in Ljubljana and 81 students of Secondary School for Pharmacy, Cosmetics and Health Care. The results of the research show that the majority of the adolescents have heard about the subject of trafficking in human beings before the Vijolica workshop. They also indicate that after the completed workshop, the participants were able to more easily identify the characteristics of human trafficking. We have ascertained that even before the workshop, most of the participants would not go to a concert or a game abroad, if a stranger invited them and offered free tickets. By the end of the workshop, the percentage of participants who would not accept such an offer even increases. Additionally, we have come to learn that more than one third of the adolescents would meet with somebody, whom they have met on Facebook or in a chat room. Only a small percentage of students changed their minds after the workshop. Therefore, this is important that the prevention program Vijolica puts a strong emphasis on the (un)safety of Facebook and chat rooms. We have discovered that due to the completed workshop, the participants have become better acquainted with the subject of trafficking in human beings and what it encompasses, the risk factors and the decision strategies.
