Abstract

Secondary title: THE INFLUENCE OF THE PLACE OF RESIDENCE ON THE SENSOMOTORIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHILDREN
Secondary abstract: Diploma thesis called "The impact of place of residence on the sensomotoric development of children" consists of theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part we introduce development of sensory and motor function, effect of sensory on motor development as well as differences between urban and rural kindergartens in relation to sensomotoric development. In the empirical part we use causal nonexperimental method to gain the results of motoric tests which involves sensomotoric skills. In the test we included 38 children (22 boys and 16 girls) from the urban kindergarden, and 50 kids (25 boys and 25 girls) from the rural kindergarten. With the help of quantitative statistical analysis of test results, we come to the following results: children in rural kindergarten are in the sensomotiric development better than children from urban kindergarten, boys are in the sensomotoric development better than girls, in sensomotoric development there is a difference between children of different ages.
