Abstract
Specialistično delo obravnava teoretska in empirična spoznanja o zastopanosti spolov v mednarodnih civilnih misijah. V delu so najprej predstavljeni in pojasnjeni pojmi, ki se med seboj povezujejo in razlagajo tematiko, kot so Organizacija združenih narodov, mednarodne mirovne misije, aktivne mirovne misije danes, dosedanja vključenost Slovenske Policije v MCM, oboroženi spopadi, mirovni proces in resolucija varnostnega sveta št. 1325, ki predpisuje enako zastopanosti spolov v mednarodnih mirovnih misijah. Specialistično delo zato obravnava zainteresiranost slovenskih policistk za sodelovanje v mednarodnih mirovnih misijah in njihovem mnenju o njihovi strokovni usposobljenosti. V empiričnem delu je s pomočjo kvalitativnega pristopa predstavljena izvedba ankete in njene ugotovitve. Predstavljeni so pridobljeni rezultati ankete o policistkah v slovenski policiji zainteresiranih za delo v mednarodnih mirovnih procesih.
Predstavljena je dosedanja vključenost policistk, kot tudi sedanje stanje njihovega vključevanja v mednarodne mirovne misije. Iz analize ankete je razvidno, da ima Slovenska Policija trenutno zadostno število zainteresiranih policistk, ki bi bile pripravljene sodelovati v mednarodnih mirovnih misijah. Poleg zainteresiranih policistk je analiza ankete pokazala, da so te tudi ustrezno strokovno usposobljene. S to ugotovitvijo je potrjeno, da policija lahko izpolni pogoje/usmeritve resolucije varnostnega sveta Združenih narodov št. 1325, ki govori o enaki zastopanosti moških in žensk v mirovnih procesih.

Secondary abstract: |
The diploma deals with gender in international peacekeeping missions. The task of the theoretical and experimental nature, the topic deals with both the theoretical as well as from the research point of view. The thesis first explain concept that are interconnected with one another and interpreted themes: The United Nations, international peacekeeping missions, active peace keeping missions today, the involvment of Slovenian police in the PKO, UN Security Cuncil Resolution no. 1325 armed conflict, the peace process. In the experimental part of the thesis presents the implementation of the survey and its findings. Presents the reults obtained on the survey Slovenian police, officer qualified to work in the international peace process. Presented in the interests of Slovenian police officers to work in international peacekeeping missions. The emphasis is on the fact, that in the international peacekeeping missions is a growing tendency of the equal gender, prerscribed by resolution UN SC no. 1325. Presented the previous involvement of female police officers, as well as the current state of their involvement in the international peacekeeping missions. The survey results showed that the Slovenian police currently has a sufficient number of interested officers who would be willing to participate in international peacekeeping missions. In addition, the interested officers, the survey found that those also properly trained. This finding has confirmed that police may satisfy the conditions / guidelines resolutions of Security Council of the United Nations 1325 to ensure equal presentation of men and women in peace process. |
