Abstract

Secondary title: FREE TIME - WHAT DO PUPILS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL LOČE KNOW ABOUT IT AND HOW DO THEY SPEND IT?
Secondary abstract: The paper entitled: Free time - what do pupils of Primary school Loče know about it and how do they spend it?, combines two parts, theoretic and empiric, which complement each other. The phenomenon of free time and theories about it are accurately explained in the theoretical part. The analysis of the survey, based on the sample of 130 pupils attending 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th grade at Primary school Loče, is presented in the empirical part of the paper. I determined that the majority of the surveyed pupils know what free time is and always do something during it. Most of them do sports, use a computer, and socialize with friends and peers. Respondents often decide to attend extra-curricular and non-school activities on the basis of self-interest. The majority of the respondents believe that they have just the right amount of free time.
