Abstract

V diplomskem delu predstavljamo poceni izvedbo 3D optičnega prebirnika predmetov, s pomočjo senzorja Kinect za Xbox 360 in motorizirane vrtljive podlage, ki smo jo izdelali za ta namen. Med potekom dela smo se seznanili z delovanjem senzorja Kinect in proučili delovanje koračnih motorjev. Za krmiljenje koračnega motorja smo zasnovali in izdelali krmilno enoto, za gradnjo 3D modela optično prebranega predmeta pa smo uporabili toge in netoge transformacije globinskih slik.

Secondary abstract: In this diploma thesis we present the implementation of inexpensive 3D optical scanner using the Kinect sensor for Xbox 360 and motorized rotary base that has been designed for this purpose. During the course of work we got acquainted with Kinect sensor functionality and examined the stepper motor operation. To control the stepper motor we designed and built the control unit, and for the construction of 3D model of scanned object we used rigid and non rigid transformation of depth images.
