(magistrsko delo)
Abstract
Zbrane podatke smo prikazali z grafično distribucijo. V vprašanju prostega odgovora, so anketirani zapisali svoje poglede in izkušnje z nasiljem. Ta del podatkov smo obdelali kvalitativno z analizo besedila in jih prikazali v tabeli. S strani ministrstva poskrbeti za ustrezno zakonodajo dolžnosti in pravic vseh zaposlenih v zdravstvu.

Violence against staff in Emergency department |
Secondary abstract: |
Violence is a common social phenomenon that occurs in all kinds of shapes in the work environment. Working area in emergency departments is specific because of the nature and extent of work in which from individual at a given moment requires an appropriate response to critical situations. Every day, employees are faced with emotionally stressful events while they are exposed to violence against them.
The purpose of the thesis is to identify the violence of costumers caused by patients and their relatives in emergency services and to investigate the frequency of this phenomenon in the emergency medical services near Slovenia. Quantitative methodology was used. Survey questionnaires were sent across different Paramedic centres and emergency services in Slovenia. The collected data have been shoved with graphical distribution. The questionnaire ended with an optional unstructured question, where the respondents could express their experiences of violence during their work. These results were processed with text analysis and are presented in table. Results show the large presence of violence in the workplace in emergency medical services. Each individual is experiencing violence and defines its own way. What will be the response to the violence has largely depended on the experience of the individual. By these experiences depends how individual will deal with them. Employees of the NMP have opinion that at the time of formal education received little information about violence in the workplace and have a feeling that they have no protection against violence. In order to achieve cultural communication in health care and effective prevention of violence is a necessary at first of all recognize violence, appropriate dealing with them and to enable support for victims of domestic violence and keeping full and accurate records about violence. Violence must be included in the curriculum of schools. Ministry should provide appropriate law rights and duties of all employees in health sector and patients also. |
