Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je bil poiskati nove možnosti za pripravo tehnološke vode v podjetju JUB. Obstoječi postopek priprave vode obsega kemijsko mehčanje in dezinfekcijo z UV- žarnico. Pri delu smo se osredotočili na znižanje dodatka sredstva za mehčanje vode ter uporabo ionske izmenjave in reverzne osmoze. Preučevali smo učinkovitost dveh ionskih smol, ki bi bili primerni predvsem za znižanje trdote vode (Lewatit TP 207 in Lewatit S 1468), ter membrano iz polietersulfona. V nadaljevanju smo z mehčano vodo pripravili izbrane izdelke podjetja in jih ocenili glede na učinkovitost dispergiranja polnil v vodnih raztopinah. Ocenili smo stroške alternativnih postopkov priprave vode. Ugotovili smo, da bi bila za pripravo tehnološke vode glede na rezultate najbolj primerna kombinacija kemičnega mehčanja z znižanim dodatkom sredstva za mehčanje vode in ionske izmenjave.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of diploma thesis was to find new ways of the condition of process water in the company Jub. The existing water treatment process includes chemical softening and disinfection with a UV-lamp. During the experimentation we focused on the reduction of softening additive and the use of ion exchange and reverse osmosis. We studied the efficiency of the two resins, which would be particularly suitable for the reduction of water hardness (Lewatit TP 207 and Lewatit S 1468), and polyethersulfone membrane. We created the selected products of the company using softened process water and assessed them according to the effectiveness of dispersion of fillers in aqueous solutions. We estimated the costs of alternative methods for preparation of the water. On the basis of the results we concluded that the combination of chemical softening with a reduced addition of softening aditive and ion exchange would be most suitable for the condition of process water.
