Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava oblikovno zasnovo mestnega kolesa, katerega oblika temelji na kolesih tipa ˝cruiser˝. Podkrepljeno je z raziskavo zgodovine koles in trenutnih tipov koles. Prikazan je proces inženirskega oblikovanja od raziskave, idejne risbe, izbire barvnih rešitev, računalniškega modeliranja, digitalne vizualizacije do izdelave virtualnega in fizičnega modela. Z upoštevanjem tehničnega in estetskega vidika obravnavanega problema je dosežena oblikovna in tehnična rešitev, ki pa ima tudi dober tržni potencial.

Secondary abstract: Diploma work is studying design concept of city bike, the design of which is based on ˝cruiser˝ type bicycles. It is enhanced with the research of bicycle history and current bicycle types. Shown is a process of engineering designing from research, conceptual drawings, choise of color solutions, computer modelling, digital visualization to making of virtual and physical model. Taking into account the tehnical and aesthetic aspect of the problem, a tehnical and design solution is achieved, that also has a good market potential.
