Abstract

Diplomska naloga obravnava razvoj simulacijskega modela strežnega sistema na športni prireditvi, natančneje na planiški prireditvi. S pomočjo razvitega simulacijskega modela smo opredelili ustrezno število zaposlenih za nemoten potek prireditve, pri čemer smo želeli, da povprečni časi čakanja na vhodih ne bi bili predolgi. To je bil tudi cilj diplomskega dela. V uvodnem poglavju je opisana zgodovina planiških prireditev ter problemi, ki so se v preteklosti že pojavljali. S pomočjo razvitega simulacijskega modela smo poustvarili približek realnega stanja v Planici. Z omejitvijo okolja na ožji prireditveni prostor smo določili ustrezno število strežnih mest glede na podani kriterij največjega dovoljenega povprečnega časa čakanja, kar je potrebno za nemoten potek prireditve. Za potrebe simulacije smo zbrali potrebne podatke o postavitvi na prireditvenem prostoru ter o intenzivnosti prihoda strank v Planico. Rezultate simulacijskih tekov smo v nadaljevanju grafično prikazali ter opredelili ustrezno organizacijo planiške prireditve.

Secondary abstract: The subject of graduate thesis is about developing a simulational model of a queuing system on a sport event, more specifically on the Planica event. The main goal of diploma thesis is to determine the proper number of employees on the event with developed discrete event model and to ensure smooth running without having too high waiting times at the entrances. In the first part the history of Planica's events is presented and problems that have had occurred in the past. In the next sections several possible solutions were introduced. With developed simulational model the real situation has been recreated. By narrowing the events space we have determined the optimal number of queuing places based on the maximal average waiting time which is needed for smooth running of an event. Based on the past experiences we have gained information about the employees assignment on the event and about intensity of guest's arrivals to Planica. Data provided by the simulation model were later on graphically presented and an appropriate organization of Planica event has ben proposed.
