Abstract

V diplomskem delu se bomo posvetili delovanju požarnega zida, sistemov za zaznavanje vdorov in nekaterim grožnjam, ki nam pretijo iz interneta. Cilj diplomske naloge je, da se seznanimo z delovanjem orodij, ki nas varujejo pred napadi in spoznati nekatere metode, ki se uporabljajo za napade na običajne uporabnike. V prvem delu diplomske naloge bomo predstavili delovanje obrambnega mehanizma našega računalniškega sistema in nekaterih protokolov, ki nam omogočajo prenos podatkov iz interneta. V drugem delu pa se bomo posvetili grožnjam našemu računalniškemu sistemu in nekaterim poizkusom vdora v sistem. Na koncu diplomskega dela bomo opisali možnosti za izboljšanje varnosti naših domačih računalniških omrežij.

Secondary abstract:	In this diploma work, we will learn how our firewaland the intrusion detection system work and the risks of using the internet will be presented. The aim of this diploma work is to familiarize our self with the tools and software that provide defence for our computer system security, and learn about the techniques which are usually used to break into computer system connected to the network. The first part of the diploma work the system security of our computers and some protocols whitch enable the data exchange with the internet will be presented. In the second part the risks to our computer systems will be focused, and some ways to break into computer system will be tried out. In the end we will give some proposalsto make the computer system and network more resistant to computer intrusion attempts and so also more secure.
