Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Analiza motoričnih spretnosti in telesnih razsežnosti otrok v občini Šmarje pri Jelšah je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega dela in empiričnega dela. Na osnovi empiričnih motoričnih testov je cilj analizirati motorične spretnosti in telesne razsežnosti otrok v občini Šmarje pri Jelšah ter ugotoviti razlike med otroki, ki živijo v družinski hiši, in otroki, ki živijo v večstanovanjski hiši (bloku). V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili gibalni in telesni razvoj otroka, motorične sposobnosti in motorične spretnosti ter telesne razsežnosti. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili medsebojno povezavo telesnih razsežnosti in motoričnih sposobnosti ter načine, kako lahko izmerimo motorične spretnosti. V empiričnem delu smo prikazali rezultate motoričnih testov na vzorcu 168 predšolskih otrok v občini Šmarje pri Jelšah, starih od 3 do 6 let. Podatke o stanju motoričnih spretnosti in telesnih razsežnosti smo zbrali s kvantitativno tehniko, in sicer z dvanajstimi motoričnimi testi. S pomočjo kvantitativne statistične obdelave pridobljenih rezultatov testiranja smo prišli do zaključka, da med otroki, ki bivajo v različnem okolju, ni statistično značilnih razlik v razvitosti motoričnih spretnosti in da med telesnimi razsežnostmi in motoričnimi spretnostmi obstaja povezava.

Secondary abstract: The diploma paper The analysis of motoric skills and bodily dimensions of children in municipality Šmarje pri Jelšah is composed of theoretical and empirical part. Goal based on empirical motoric tests was to analyse motoric skills and bodily dimensions of children in municipality Šmarje pri Jelšah and to establish the differences between children living in family houses and those who live in block of flats. Theoretical part presents motoric and bodily development of children, motoric abilities, motoric skills and bodily dimensions. In continuation mutual connection of bodily dimensions and motoric abilities is presented and how motoric skills can be measured. Empirical part shows results of motoric tests of 168 preschool children in municipality Šmarje pri Jelšah, aged 3 to 6. Data on motoric skills and bodily dimensions has been gathered with quantitative technique, with twelve motoric tests. With the help of quantitative statistic data processing of testing we have arrived at a conclusion that among children who live in different setting there are no statistically significant differences in motoric skills development and that there is a connection between bodily dimensions and motoric skills.
