diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija Organizacija in management delovnih procesov
Abstract
Diplomsko delo temelji na raziskavi managementa znanja v zdravstvu. Teoretični del je namenjen obravnavi splošnih informacij, ki zadevajo management znanja: od opredelitve znanja, učeče se organizacije, managementa znanja in nazadnje do managementa znanja v zdravstvu. V empiričnem delu naloge je predstavljena raziskava o managementu znanja med zdravstvenimi delavci, zaposlenimi v Univerzitetnem kliničnem centru Maribor (v nadaljevanju UKC Maribor). V diplomskem delu smo pridobili dragocene podatke o pomembnosti managementa znanja v organizaciji. Ugotovili smo, da učinkovito izobraževanje zdravstvenih delavcev vpliva na izboljšanje rezultatov in zmanjšanje stroškov. Upravljanje znanja izboljša kakovost, oskrbo in storitve, zmanjšuje stroške za zdravstveno oskrbo in izboljšuje koordinacijo informacij med objekti, institucijami in osebju v zdravstvenem zavodu. Analiza je pokazala, da se UKC Maribor uvršča med učeče se organizacije. Kot negativno lastnost izpostavljamo, da je kakovostnih predavanj za zaposlene še vedno premalo. S tem strinjajo tudi zaposleni iz UKC Maribor. Podatki iz analize so pokazali, da zaposlene pošiljajo na predavanja ali tečaje le enkrat letno. Verjetno so varčevalni ukrepi v zadnjem letu vplivali na to, da je bilo manj izobraževanj in premalo predavanj, kar je tudi vplivalo na zaznavanje pomena nenehnega učenja pri posamezniku kot nujne sestavine za izboljšanje dela.

The thesis explores knowledge management in health care. The theoretical part deals with basic concepts pertaining to knowledge management, i.e. knowledge, a learning organisation, knowledge management and knowledge management in health care. As for the empirical part, it presents a research on knowledge management among health care professionals working at the University Medical Centre Maribor. The thesis contains invaluable information about the importance of knowledge management in an organisation. Results suggest that effective education of health care professionals helps improve performance as well as reduce costs. Moreover, knowledge management enhances quality, care and services, reduces health care costs and improves information coordination between facilities, institutions and personnel in a health care establishment. Analysis indicates that the University Medical Centre Maribor is classified as a learning organisation. However, there are still too few quality education courses available for the employees, who acknowledge that as well. Analysis results show that the employees get to attend only one education course or training program every year. Austerity measures in the past year probably contributed to the fact that less training programs and not nearly enough education courses were organised. As a result, the importance of constant learning for better work results has become more obvious. |
