Abstract

Analiza podatkov o poučenosti, samovodenju in obvladovanju sladkorne bolezni kaže, da bolniki nimajo dovolj znanja in niso dovolj poučeni o zdravem življenjskem slogu. Razprava in sklep: Življenjski slog, zdravstvena vzgoja, motiviranost, redni obiski v referenčni ambulanti so za bolnika s sladkorno boleznijo tipa 2 zelo pomembni.

Secondary title: A COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT OF A PATIENT WITH DIABETES IN THE REFERENCED INFIRMARY
Secondary abstract: Starting – points: Diabetes 2 belongs to those chronical diseases which represent a big problem for public health care because of its frquency and demanding treatment. In order to restrain the diabetes successfully the reconciliation act between the health system and the whole society is needed. Reference dispensaries (clinics) signify an important progress in the team treatment of diabetes patients, they also increase the better accessibility to qualitative medical care for the residents. The main purpose of this diploma paper is to present a reference dispensary and the role of a graduate nurse in treatment of diabetes patients and also on the base of research to find out whether the diabetes patients were satisfied with the treatment in the reference dispensary. Research methodology: the research was based on quantitative methodology. The opinion poll containing 31 questions was used to establish whether the patients were satisfied with their treatment in the reference dispensaries. My questionnaire was adapted from » The opinion poll about the efficiency of reference dispensaries in family medicine.« Results : The research results showed that 82.5 % of all the patients were always or nearly always satisfied with the entire treatment in the reference dispensary. The analysis of the data about beeing informed, commanding and self– controlling the diabetes shows that patient's knowledge about the disease and the healthy lifestyle isn't sufficient enough. Discussion and conclusion: Lifestyle, medical knowledge, motivation, regular visits at the reference dispensary are very important for the diabetes2 patient. With the appropriate nutrition, physical activity and preventing the risk factors which cause the disease cronical complications could be prevented and the course of the illness could be slower.
