Secondary title: | Numerical calculation of a linear generator |
Secondary abstract: | In the presented thesis different topologies and some advantages and disadvantages of linear electric machines were presented. Some applications where linear electric machines are most commonly used were described. Numerical methods used in the design of electrical machines were described as well. A 3D model of the selected linear synchronous generator was made. Materials properties and boundary conditions that are necessary for numerical calculation with Ansys software were prescribed. Within the numerical analysis calculations of magnetic flux density, current density, thrust and detent force were made for case of a linear generator with current and without current loads in the primary winding. |
