Abstract

Predvsem prihaja do nerazumevanja, neupoštevanja in negiranja znakov sindroma. Statistično smo obdelali in razložili rezultate.

Secondary title: Stress and burnout at workplace in micro enterprises
Secondary abstract: Stress is defined as an intense and uncomfortable feeling of tension. It occurs as a consequence of a situation evoking strong reluctance which cannot be controlled anymore. Not all people, however, react the same way in a stressful situation. Burnout, which an individual might suffer from at work, brings about several changes in one’s life. Individuals usually misunderstand the signs of burnout or even reject and deny the symptoms of the burnout syndrome. Any overload at work, however, does not lead to burnout. The introduction of the master’s degree thesis presents the problem of stress and burnout, goals, research hypotheses, presumptions and methods used in the research. The thesis comprises two parts, namely the theoretical and research (i.e. empirical) part. The theoretical part focuses on the problem of stress at work, its dimensions and reasons for its occurrence and negative effects it has on people. Burnout is likewise presented in detail. Discussed are its symptoms and levels. Ways of managing with this state of exhaustion and coping with its negative effects are also presented. The practical part delves into the problem of stress and burnout in greater deal. It focuses on this issue in case of micro companies in the Koroška region. The data obtained from the research is statistically presented and commented upon.
